POSTWARE - a postal automation turnkey solution
Elaammal has come up with a solution named POSTWARE, a postal automation turnkey solution. POSTWARE POS (Point of sale)

The POSTWARE POS, a Touch screen based solution, arguably the premier Point Of Sale product for the postal industry is developed with the core objective of automating the revenue management of the Nodal offices of he Postal Department. PostWare POS is a blend of hardware and software with a dynamic user interface that can accommodate new services automatically based on the PostWare Server configuration. The PostWare POS has a thermal printer, barcode reader, scale, magnetic card reader, receipt printer, cash drawer and a pole display.

POSTWARE KIOSK
Elaammal developed an interactive kiosk system, that enables consumers to have instant electronic direct access to Postal Services well as value added services and information. The main objectives of this PostWare KIOSK is to widen the reach of self-service beyond the post office, a customer alternative to the full-service retail window, improved self-service reliability and creating a common self-service platform and supporting technology structure. The result of PostWare KIOSK implementation could be one of the largest changes for both the Postal Service and its customers.

Value added services – Shoppie
It represents the third party services provided to the user through POS/KIOSK and broadcasting of commercial advertisements through the overhead monitor of PostWare KIOSKS. Third party services are basically template driven value added service that includes collection service, ticketing and charging service, etc. The commercial advertisements can be managed and scheduled through advertisement administration to run on distributed PostWare KIOSKS.
